Not sure if this got straightened out but "Coffee Bender" is their brown ale that's not too expensive nor hard to find. Darkness I've not had but I wouldn't be drinking that one out of a coffee mug during my usual morning commute if you know what I mean

I find it funny a lot of response here is FBS and I'm not sure if its because it had Breakfast in title.... The last weekend, I had Heady with eggs, hashbrowns and ham. It was delighful.

Founders Breakfast Stout, Mikkeller's Beer Geek Breakfast (all the versions) are all a bit obvious....

Personally I enjoy a good German beer like Weihenstephan Hefeweizen or a berliner weiss if available. I like kellerbiers too.

Someone mentioned Moa Breakfast. It's a nice light sour beer, brewed with cherries, bret and nelson sauvin. reminded me of a mimosa. highly recommended

Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout always fly's under the radar. Not as good as FBS but half the price and comes in cans for breakfast at camp.

I agree with the Founders Breakfast Stout and KBS but I also dig Ten Fidy and Left Hand Milk Stout, especially with some scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and big ol' buttermilk bisquits, and to really top it off a big bowl of grits. Hell yeah!

Cant go wrong with a stout for breakfast. KBS, Founders Breakfast Stout. Another is by Rogue - Maple Bacon. I mean come on, that screams breakfast.

Southern Tier Creme Brule is brewed with vanilla beans. It is a tasty stout. Very tasty! Makes a great beer float if you haven't tried one yet.

man you can go Rogue Double Chocolate Stout, Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro, Southern Tier 2X Milk Stout, Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout, St Arnolds Pumpkinator. The only imperial on this list is St Arnolds.

Amen! Just had a fresh one last night. Maybe it's just my stupid palate, but I think it tastes really good this year. Nice strong coffee flavor without being too bitter.

ya'll like to get F'd up early. Drinking a 12% beer in the morning? GTFO.

Its all about a nice oatmeal stout. Or maybe a good Hefe with brunch. Lets let the double digit ABV beers be until happy hour.
