About a year ago I received a set of Spiegelau beer glasses and a set of Mikasa glasses. Since then I've acquired a number of brewery-bought glasses, mainly tulips and snifters, that I usually drink out of. However, with dirty dishes and all, I still use the gifted sets from time to time. Anyone have any experience or preference with the aforementioned glasses? I find the Spiegelau glasses are nicely sized and shaped but seem fragile and I have to hand wash them or they will shatter. The Mikasa glasses are weighty and thick, but grossly oversized, and I find myself only able to use the snifter in this set unless I'm drinking growler pours. Does anybody prefer any other set of glasses, or are brewery-glasses just the standard now?

I have a tendency to drink my Belgian beers out my god-son's "Cookie Monster" sippy cup and my RIS out of cone-shaped water dispenser cups!:sunglasses:
Actually, I tend to drink most of my beers out of a set of high quality Pittsburgh Penguin pilsner glasses that have medallions made from the old Civic Arena!

All my "brewery bought" I brought back from Germany 30 yrs ago. Don't really like to use those, so I bought a cheap pilsner style set from wal mart. Get overcome with an attack of the butterfingers the only thing your out, besides beer, is two bucks and lots easier to replace.
