There are a bunch out there, what do you think is the best? Please comment on consistency, ease, accuracy, price and so on...

I think TapHunter is pretty good.. Unfortunately, all of them rely on the location keeping their listing updated. They give a rough, symbolic indication of how recently the menu was revised, but that can change by the hour/day.

to find things close to you, cant beat the ratebeer app. uses your location and pops up the closest places and the ratings...

TapHunter's app description in Google Play store says they have coverage for a few CA, CO, and WA major metro areas. Have they expanded that coverage at all?

Oh, no idea. I have only ever looked for places in CA, so I didn't even realize their coverage was limited.

I have some sites bookmarked like Taphunter, Beermenus, etc., but I've found most of them are highly regional. It would be strong in one region and weak in another. For example, Taphunter in Los Angeles, is decent. In Philadelphia or New York City, it's useless. You just need to try and see which one fits your needs the best. I'm seeing more places actually keep updated tap lists on their own websites and do not rely on third party entities.
