Best beer NOT available in Virginia?

    Hey Guys,
    I live out in Los Angeles and I came home last night to a box of beer a friend sent me from Virginia. He use to live in LA so he is aware of what we do and do not get out here. I want to send him some awesome stuff in return but I have no Idea what he has access to out there in Vienna Northern Virginia. Can anyone let me know if these beers get decent distribution out there.

    Stone/Beachwood- Unapologetic IPA

    Ballast Point- Sculpin and/or Habanero Sculpin

    Victory- DirtWolf

    Ska- Modus Hoperandi

    Great divide- Showdown Rye

    Do you guys get any beachwood distribution? Clown Shoes?

    Any recommendations of what I should be sending is also welcomed.

    Beachwood is probably something they'd appreciate. That doesn't make it to the DMV that I'm aware of.

    I think Virginia gets distro of everything on your list, with the exception of Ska. Not sure on Ska.

    VA gets Ballast Point, but I've only ever seen Habanero Sculpin on tap, don't believe the bottles make it out here.

    I would think he'd like some Deschutes, Almanac, AleSmith, Cascade (none of which is in VA). If he doesn't, I'll happily take it off your hands.

    I moved from VA to LA last year and there's tons of stuff out here that VA doesn't get. Ballast Point definitely has distro in VA but I doubt the Habanero Sculpin made it there.

    In addition to the things mentioned...Modern Times, Lost Abbey/Port, Pizza Port, Russian River, Logdon's, Noble, Kern River, Alpine, etc, etc.
