Best Beer of 2014

    Now that '14 is coming to an end, what was your favorite beer of this year? This could be a '14 release or previous. I know this will be hard for most of you as it is for me.

    I'm going with DB Huna.

    I'm going with Ithaca Brute, batch 1 from 2008. Amazingly fantastic.

    I also thoroughly enjoyed the Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Lord you sent me in a trade. Had it the other day. Thanks hoff!

    Favorite that I discovered during 2014 has to be Boulevard's "Sixth Glass." Probably in my top five of all time.

    Best 2014 beer tasted of any kind- Homebrew/pilot batch beer done by soon to be Brewmaster at Kent Falls- Mango Gose
    Best any vintage tasted this year- Saint Lamvinus

    I drank a lot of really good beers for the first time in 2014, too many to mention...My favorite beer that had its initial release in 2014 is Westbrook's 4th Anniversary chocolate, almond, coconut stout

    Had a few new ones that I really enjoyed this year . . .
    Barrel Aged Sierra Nevada Narwhal has to be my favorite, but these follow a close second.
    Anderson Valley Brewing Company Huge Arker
    Bell's Expedition Stout
    Sierra Coffee Stout, this has to be available as a seasonal six-pack please
    Ballast Point Victory at Sea and Grapefruit Sculpin
    North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve Aged in Brandy Barrels, there's so many more, cheers!

    Forgot to put this one on my list, visited the brewery took home a mixed case (3 bottle limit), Nelson was by far my favorite, should have bought a growler!
