My wife has a business trip to Las Vegas this week. I'm not familiar with the area. Can anyone recommend good beers worth bringing home? Were from Ohio
I am a fan of Joseph James Brewing Citra Rye. It is a rye pale ale and super tasty. I've also heard Tenaya Creek Brewing is solid, but never had their stuff. Good luck!
Not sure about bring home beers but definitely try to go to one of the two Aces and Ales. I had a good time there.
If you're looking to bring home local beers, Joseph James' stuff is a safe bet. I liked everything I had from them. Big Dogs and Tenaya Creek package and are worthwhile, too. Bad Beat bottles, but I wasn't happy with anything I had from them. I dunno if any others are bottling/canning in any quantity, but I'm sure the Vegas folks can chime in.
Citra rye, war dog (if avail) JJ smoked wee heavy anniversary beer(if the timing is right), bad beats double IPA is good(growler) The distro out here is like a small socal. So you can always go that route. Pizza port stuff is out here, etc. Stop at Khourys Fine Wine. They will take care of you.
Go to hop nuts brewing near downtown in the art district. They have a great double ipa called green mamba. Also they usually have a few local first taps. Enjoy!
Like mentioned in the last post....Khoureys,atomic,Total wine,..Tenaya,Big Dogs,JJ......I would Deff hit up Aces and ales or Khoureys for a glass.
