I'll be in brussels next week and I'm looking for some recommendations for really good belgian beers to bring back home. Id like to get beers that arent normally distributed to the US (if not known, just posting the beer name is fine). I really like dubbels and quads so we'll narrow it down to those styles.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    cheers!

Go take a search through the Benelux forum and you'll find a wealth of knowledge over there

    All of them.

Edit: but if you're partial to hard-to-get-in-the-U.S. dubbels and quads, Westvleteren seems like the obvious choice. There are other great (and I do mean *great*) takes on the style in Rochefort and St. Bernardus, to name a couple, but Westy is pretty difficult to get over here, and their quad is quite good. Never had the dubbel...

If you like Quads then you should get your hands on Westvleteren 12; that beer is not exported to the US.

If you like sour beers then pick up some Cantillon beers.

    Cheers!

I would say get Pannepot from De Struise.
