    Good morning everyone!
I am a fellow craft beer enthusiast from all the way up in Vancouver Canada, I have a friend who lives in Awhatukee Arizona and was thinking of having him search for some specific brews and send them up to me.
I have basically a bucket list that contains Founders, BCBS, Firestone, Great Divide, Alchemist, Ballast Point, Modern Times, Pliny, etc.
Would any of you happen to know which stores in or near Awhatukee could possibly have these beers?
Any help and direction would be MUCH appreciated.
    Take care and happy thursday
    -James

No bottle shops that I know of in Ahwatukee but there are Bevmos and Total wines nearby that would have all the beers except pliny, alchemist and modern times which aren't distributed here and whales like bcbs fly off the shelves in 1 day so you wont find it either.

Not much in that particular area other than TW and Bevmo, if you are will to drive a little bit you have some options Tops Liquor in Tempe, Desert Rose and GCM in Gilbert and one of the better shops I have been in City Wine way out in East Mesa, I just wish it was not so far from me in the NE valley

While they have a pretty solid selection as bigbelcher said you wont be finding any whalez on the shelves, they are usually gone within hours. You will find most of Founders, Firestone Ballast points main line beers in pretty easy supply. but if you are looking for Firestone Proprietors Vintage series, KBS BCBS etc not going to happen except on special occasion and even then they can be a tough get.

Best bet in terms of variety is to find a total wine. While it may not be the freshest or stored in the best conditions, it has the best variety (thousands of beers). Its the best one-stop shop in AZ. Like the others above said, you won't find any rare beer just lying around.

pretty much just echoing what others have said. total wine and bevmo are pretty much the go-to stores near there. the total wine can be a tough crowd though, some snoody employees and you are sometimes lucky to get any of the extremely limited brews. the wholefoods in chandler, not too far of a drive, can be a good choice too. you can often find some rarities hanging around there. tops liquor, as previously mentioned above, can also be a good spot.
