Hi there, team! My friend has a friend traveling back to the East Coast from LA tonight, and he would like to bring back some items. I apologize for the short notice, but that's what I was told late last night. Anyway, would any store local to Hancock Park carry Monkish (or any highly regarded local) IPAs and Bruery or BL (or any other highly regarded local) imperial stouts? Thanks in advance!
You won’t find Monks cans outside of Monk T or Monk A. I’m not sure about local stores in that area. If he or she’s got a car have them drive to Highland Park Chinatown for some good west coast/hazy IPA’s and pils/lager cans to go.
Southland Beer is generally in that area...ok to-go section sometimes. Probably better off just going to the closest Whole Foods, can usually get some local hops (I got Highland Park Timbo Pils from there not long ago...if you see that, get it).
What Nate said. The local Whole Foods should have bottles of Pliny and possibly Blind Pig on deck. Never been to Southland Beer but their tap list checks out and might reflect what they have available to-go. Might be the easiest way to go about it given where the friend is located.
As people stated Monkish doesn't distro ( why theyre so hyped IMO) . Highland Park has.ok Mid beers...can also get Paperback, El Segundo , Smog City stuff at Cap n Cork. Whole Foods in Downtown LA has a lot of hops. As Far as Bottle Logic....Handy Market way outta the way....No one really carries Bruery anymore
