    I've been on a Brandy kick lately, and I really enjoy stuff like Angels-share, Bois, Papier, Ovila quad, 50/50s Concentrated Evil Brandy aged.

    Anything I should be looking for? I'm guessing Hunahpu is one. Haven't attempted a trade for it yet.

    Leon is nice is you can find it. I would also suggest Calvafos JW Lees, which should be much easier to find.

    Excuse my lack of precision. You'll have to find someone who has it.

    Highly suggest the lakefront anniversary beer, brandy barrel pumpkin. Pretty close to the almanac beer IMO. Maybe not exactly equivalent but close and will do the trick if you're looking for big time brandy character.

    I still see light coming through the top of that snifter. Why don't you pour a little more in there ;-)

    Can someone tell me what types of flavors you generally get from aging in brandy barrels?

    @Beeelander
    In my experience, any of the following characteristics (and certainly more) may be imparted to the beer.
    From the barrels; wood, oak, earthiness, vanilla and perhaps some smoke.
    From the brandy; dark fruits, red fruits, grapes, toffee, vanilla, alcohol, some added sweetness.

    @MetalMountainMastiff
    Black Diamond Grand Cru aged in Brandy Barrels. Last time I was in LA, it wasn't too hard to find.

    @RBassSFHOPit2ME
    I initially read that as Brandy Barrel BORIS and nearly squealed with excitement. Brandy Barrel BORIS would be amazing.
