Heading out to Colorado to visit family next month. I want to hit up a good brewery but dont of money besides Great Divide. Gonna be in the Wellington area. Any advice would appreciated. If there is any other threads already about this please go ahead and guide me there. Again going to be in the Wellington area so preferably around there.

Wellington is a small town so I'd be surprised if there are any breweries there. However, it's close to Fort Collins where there are many (New Belgium, Odell, Funkwerks, Black Bottle, to name a few). I haven't been there for a few years so I'll leave it to my fellow BA's to make specific recommendations. Have a great trip!

Thank you I looked on yelp too and thats what I seen that most are in fort Collins. It'll be my first time out there so curious to see what BA community has to say over the yelp community lol

New Belgium and Odells are must see in that area. Funkwerks is fantastic if you like the traditional Belgian styles of beers. I do like Black Bottle quite a bit, it's a nice place to hang out. These first 4 all sell bombers you can take home. Horse and Dragon is another good one. I have not been to Equinox or Snowbank but I have heard good things. All of these are within 15-20 minute drive of Wellington.

30 minutes of driving will likely get you to Weldwerks & Wily Roots in Greely. Would also get you to Grimm Brothers in Loveland which does traditional german styles, often with a little twist.

45 minutes could get you to Oskar Blues or Left Hand in Longmont. 10-15 minutes up the road from there gets you to Avery.

From the north, just over an hour gets you to Great Divide, Mockery, and Crooked Stave in Denver. And once you are in Denver the options really really open up. It just depends how much time you want to devote to going to breweries and drinking beers.

I always recommend people go to Avery if they go anywhere, so that is something to consider.
