Nice, I didnt even know they were open Fridays. I was there Saturday for 2nd time, went once not long after they opened last year and enjoyed that too but they didn't have any bottles ready to go back then so it was cool to be able to grab some this time.

Favorites were Exilis (best berliner i've ever had by a wide margin) and that Gosateqin but pretty much everything was well done.

^They technically aren't, but they asked that you call in and if someone was available they'd sell bottles. I called, they were available so we stopped by.

Slightly off topic, but what are some of the good craft beer bars that serve a good variety of CT and MA brews in CT.

My family live in the Danbury/Newtown area and I come home a couple of times a year. My dad, brother and brother and law and I go and visit the local breweries. Since we're on the western side of the state we don't make it out to the eastern side of CT, but we're planning on it.

But I'm looking for a good craft beer bar on the western side of the state that has a good local taplist and does smaller pours. Coalhouse pizza looks good, but I don't want to drink a 16oz pints. If the place does flights or 8-10oz pours for half the price, that would be great too.

Ginger man in S. Norwalk or Cask Republic in Stamford come to mind. A little farther away (?) is Prime 16 in Orange. Not sure how many MA beers they serve but they should have Jack's Abbey at the very least. Walrus + Carpenter looks pretty awesome too

Coalhouse does 4 pour flights (5 oz pours) and does most higher abv beers in 12 oz pours if you don't want a flight. Definitely worth a visit. Food is excellent. They also have $12 CT pitchers. The CT elite beers are not offered at the pitcher friendly price. As an example, Sea Hag is available at the pitcher price (when it's on), but G-Bot would not be.
