Going on a long weekend trip to Chicago in the near future with another couple and hitting up a Cubs game while we are there. The game is on a Saturday with a start time of 3 oclock. I'm the only craft beer fanatic in the group (my wife loves the stuff too but like the other couple she could take it or leave it). This is pretty much my only beer activity to plan so I wanted to hit up a brewery tour in the area, grab a bite to eat and then make our way to the game... Any locals care to toss me a suggestion on which brewery to go to? I was thinking Half Acre would be a good choice and I have already been to Revolution in the past... I am also open to suggestions for a good place to grab lunch in Wrigleyville, too.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers!

They don't do a tour but food at Goose Island's Wrigleyville brewpub is sort of a Cubs game tradition for us.

You could go to Goose Clybourn before the game. They have a 12:30 tour, which takes about an hour. You can also eat there and taste some amazing beers before the tour as well. You'd be 4 stops on the Red Line away and could easily make it before the first pitch.
