Best brewpub in LA/central hollywood area?

    I'm going to see the residents tomorrow at the El Rey theatre, the only great spot I know remotely close to there is the Blue Palms, anything else compare to them in the area? I saw the fathers office but doesn't look as good?

    Blue Palms isn't a brewpub, its a beer bar. But yes, it is by far the best in the area.

    The Blue Palms is fantastic.

    Biergarten is closer to the El Rey, also a beer bar rather than a brewpub, not in the Blue Palms' league, but underrated.

    thanks guys, ended up at beer belly, had some really great fried chicken tenders, the local LA beer offerings were also really delicious, was in a hurry to the show so I didn't take note of which beers I tried though. thanx for the recs!
