Good one, I forgot about Wolfden. That is probably the cloest to my house but the beer has been fairly mediocre from day one. However, the atmosphere is excellent! The outdoor area is very enjoyable. I have not tried the food yet. They usually don't have too many options on draft but they are still new so we shall see...

BoB food is fantastic. Beer is good, nothing exceptional.

Never been overly impressed by any beer at Wild Onion.

    In order of preference

    1. 3Floyds - my #1. Food, beer, ambiance, uniqueness.... it has it all for me.
    2. Half Acre Lincoln - love the beers and their burritos. Place is small but is also within close proximity of many other nice establishments (Begyle, Dovetail).
    3. GI Clybourne - the food indeed has improved, as has the beer selection. I also like the size of the place. Never an issue getting a table.
    4. MoRE - My favorite brewpub in the west burbs. Good combo of beer and food.
    5. Corridor - Solid food options, quality beer and a great location in the city (especially in the summer).

I’ll do ya one more. I think their beer is downright awful. Drago is pretty good, and I used to pick it up before it was $25-$30. Outside of that though, hop slayer is the only other beer I feel is even palatable. The wheat and pils are terrible, and while I thought the brewpub was a nice enough space, I was perfectly content to order a gin and tonic while hanging out with some friends.

Oh man! I love their beer; they rotate through alot of one-offs. I have enjoyed all styles and I have probably been there 5-7 times. Love the differing view points though. There are a few places on people's lists that I have not been to so looking forward to trying them out.

I'm hoping Moody Tongue will use some of the old Baderbrau space to build out a full-fledged brewpub. They've been increasing the food options at their Pilsen location over time, although still all in the realm of appetizers / snacks / desserts.

I got there about a year ago. The way I would put it is- it's a little too ritzy for me.
Here are photographs I took: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
The beers were good. I did not eat anything. I had eaten at the prior stop.
Do you want to visit there? I will go so far as saying "yes", even if mostly for a truthful later statement that you visited there.

Good lord, am I seeing this right? $25 for a 4-pack of beer?

Don't think I've seen it mentioned but Revolution on Milwaukee is a staple in my book. I'm now in the NW suburbs and the lack of brewpubs is a bummer.
