I am going to Denver for 5 days at the end of April and was wondering what are the can't miss breweries/ Taprooms in the Denver/Boulder area. Crooked Stave is on the top of my list so far but need some other suggestions. Also the best beer stores.
    Thanks!

What's up with you? Looks we have the same shirt! Nickname given to me by my best friend from a Monty Python skit. Recognize the avatar? Going to be in Denver for 5 days the end of April and looking for some direction.

Me, and 3 buddies, recently toured 16 breweries in 4 days in the Denver area. Here's my suggestion:
Must Go's: Avery, Great Divide, New Belgian (best tour/most free beer). Also try to visit: Oskar Blues, O'Dells, Boulder Beer, Fort Collins Beer. Must Go pubs: Falling Rock in Denver; Mayor of Old Town or Tap and Handle in Fort Collins. If you go west out of Denver, try Tommy Knockers in Idaho Springs.
