The best DIPA I've ever had on tap:

    Odell Myrcenary

    Truly outstanding.

I had it in Fort Collins so it was fresh. I've never had a better beer experience.

Double Sunshine was unreal good on tap. Probably one of my luckiest beer experiences was basically having the keg to myself at the Farmhouse Grill in Burlington.

Double jack might be the most consistent and easy to find beer in CA. Well down here in so cal it's one of ballast points few options, so where I'm at I'll call it a draw!

FireFly Hollow "Cone Flakes" DIPA. Drooling just thinking about it, but you will have to come to CT for it.

The new SingleCut Bon Bon is pretty awesome. If you're around NYC look for it. They bottled it too.

I agree - draft Hopslam is better than any bottle I've ever had, and I'm a fan of regular Hopslam.

But Kuhnhenn DRIPA is the correct answer for this neck of the woods for sure.

If you're willing to travel to Philly, I say head to Monk's Café. You can get Pliny the Elder on tap there, as well as Blind Pig (an IPA but not a DIPA, but so damn good).

Head to the Carton Brewery in NJ on your way there/back and pick up some stuff to make the most out of your trip.

I'm forgetting about Other Half in Red Hook, Brooklyn....sometimes freshness trumps everything else and you can get some really great DIPA's straight from the source hear.

It hasn't been on tap for a while. I don't think they're kegging it for the time being.

Any of the DIPA's that Cellarmaker in SF has created have been the best DIPA's I have ever had. I love Heady, I've had a boatload of it. I love Pliny too. I love Alpine's beers. But I can't find something to top Cellarmaker.

Also, take a day trip to Waterbury, VT. Visit Prohibition Pig, The Reservoir and Blackback Pub. They will have an abundance of Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Fiddlehead, and Lawson's on tap. It's truly the Mecca for hop lovers. You can get a cheap room at the Best Western, which is within walking distance and has a restaurant inside with great beers on tap as well.

    Cheers
