Best DIPA On Tap

    You need to have it at The Toronado in SF or SD, or Churchill's (in SD) or at RR's taproom

    RR refers to Pliny The Younger as "almost a true Triple IPA"

    Also, on a side note, how is it possible that 130+ BA's have it in their "Gots" ?? I thought it was only available once per year, only on draft, only in California.

    i have the exact opposite experience with Pliny the Elder. i find it pretty good in the bottle, a little unbalanced and grassy, but on tap i always love it! maybe it is because when it is on tap it is typically the best choice at said bar, whereas in the bottle, i have a variety of different options, thus installing the bias.

    I guess I third that. I know it's at least made it throughout Ohio, I've found it on tap around Cleveland.

    Family lives there. And aahhh, its in one of the biggest cities in the US in one of the most iconic neighborhoods.. not exactly off the beaten path.

    I'll wave the Lagunitas Sucks flag once again. By far the best DIPA I've ever had.

    Captain Lawrence's Seeking Alpha and Stone Enjoy By 2.14.14 were some recent favorites as well.

    If you ever get a chance to go to 3 Floyds, any of their dipas are fantastic. Also if you ever come to Tinley Park, IL you need to visit Hailstorm Brewing and try their Dominatrix. But the two best tap-only dipas I have had (they might be available in bottles but I've only seen them on draft around me), were Stone Double Dry Hopped Ruination and Bells Kalamazoo Hopsolution.

    When he said up state NY the 2 that came to my mind was higher standard and war elephant both places not to far from each other and both tap only. Also up the road in Newburgh they have hop drop dipa very good
