Didn't mean to suggest SF was small (though it is only the 14th largest, behind Jacksonville). More to my point, for a very small place that's only been around 14 months, only bottled one beer once, and has a more limited keg distro than Hill Farmstead, It's impressive on their part that folks in other states are taking notice. Glad you get to enjoy their beers on occasion! Cheers!

EDIT: When considering all of the iconic neighborhoods in SF, I don't know that I'd use that word to describe this particular section of SoMa.

    For me (my favorite style!):

    GLBC Chillwave
Southern Tier Unearthly (if you're somewhere with this, they may have 2XIPA as well)
    DFH 90 Minute
    Fat Heads Hop JuJu
    Kuhnhenn DRIPA

If you can go to Beachwood Brewing in Long
Beach, CA. I'm wicked biased as it is five minutes but Julian and the crew always have amazing DIPAs on tap. Hop Jitsu and Denver Jackhammer being my personal favorites of the many.

Used to work there, we would get a keg for the public, and one just for staff to purchase. Spoiled I know!

I just got back from Waterbury and there is no Heady on tap. All the bars serve it in cans.

    Boneyard - Hop Venom
    RR - Pliny The Elder
    NEBCo - Gandhi Bot
Kern River/Knee Deep - Deep River

I'm sure if I was able to have HT on tap and not in the can that would be up there too.

Around here (Portland area) Pliny the Elder is only available on a regular basis at a handful of establishments and on rare occasions at others.
Boneyard's Hop Venom is widely available and probably the best from this area.
Haven't had Barley Brown's DIPA yet, but when I see it I'm gonna try it because Pallet Jack is damn good.
When we were in Waterbury a couple of months ago Heady was only available in cans and Hill's Abner was probably the best I had on draft. Couldn't find Double Sunshine.

Alpine Keene Idea and Bad Boy were both crazy good on draft at the pub. Next vote would go to Bodhi.

I love it when styles get invented. A tripel or a triple IPA....... WOW! What is a Triple IPA? Ask a certified beer judge and cover your ears from the forthcoming booming laughter.....!!!!!

i look for it on beermenus - but i think its only been out twice this year - kind of unfortunate availability compared to some others.
