That beer was a sickly sweet mess, but it did hide its alcohol very well.

Tactical Nuclear Pinguin, never knew there was that much alcohol in my bottle. Went down like a Dublin Dr Pepper.

Like the OP said - first thought I had was Duvel. La Fin du Monde and a lot of tripels hide ABV well. I also think a lot of sours have more alcohol than you would think based on taste

I second the Lake Erie Monster. There's little to no alcohol taste, but it really packs a punch.

Pretty much any sour tasting beer I've had.
Consecration comes in at 10% and I can't taste the booze.

And their triple Damnation Batch 23 @ 11%

This. I had this at One Eyed Betty's and immediately thought to myself "Hmmm. I could get a girl drunk on this one. She wouldn't even know what hit her."

It's not just that the beer isn't boozy, it also is very light bodied so it doesn't even really taste like beer going down.

Struise Double Black at 26%. No alcohol taste there whatsoever. You won't know until you've tried it, it's uncanny.

I agree with BCBS, at 15% you get a ton of Bourbon flavor, but it's not boozy. I've never had a beer that was higher in ABV, NC is capped at beer at 15%. Can't say I've ever had a hot DIPA either, they seem to hide the 10% very well.
