    I like big, high alcohol, hoppy, over the top noses to beers but at the same time provide a balanced taste. I travel to the US frequently on the west coast so I'll pick up a few new 4pk/6pks along the way.

    I've tried Stone, Sierra Nevada, Firestone Walker, Dogfish Head. I'll try Russian River in April. I don't trade and I don't purchase what is available to me since I feel Canadian beers lack in the DIPA or Russian Imperial Stout categories.

    Given your in Canada your about beat unless you trade. You can forget Lawsons and HF they're too hard to get even if you want to trade. HT is great stuff and you can generally pry some loose, Abrasive is maybe even a little better and you can buy on line from france44 if they ship to Canada. Then there's Pliny and Sucks, both should be easy trades and available.
