Best list I can think of recently was the last timei visited the pony bar in NYC.

I don't remember all of it, but they had a cask oatmeal stout, cask ruination (just amazing, I had 3!), Brooklyn Silver Aniversary Lagar (again, fantastic), and while I was sipping on my last ruination, they put BCBS on tap! Was a great night of great new beers.

A keg of KBS lasted over a week when I was up there last August. Being from NY, I was so confused.

THAT'S how much great beer is being made in Vermont. Enough to make KBS the last priority.

My vote goes to Kickbacks. Tap list is short right now while they complete their massive expansion, including a Belgian Beer cellar. There's even an app for that!

Please spare me the snarky comments but you gotta give Yard House a vote for consistent variety, even though it doesn't change much.

It's no exaggeration to say that the tap list at any of these bars in Waterbury, on any random night of the year, is better than most beer festivals, maybe not in numbers, but certainly in quality. The last time I was in the Black Back, the tap list had 4 or 5 Hill Farmstead beers (including Edward and Abner), a couple of Lawsons, some Bear Republic, and several others that made my eyebrows go up (I can't even remember because I was done at Abner). I've been in bars that had 50-100 beers on tap, but I'd take these establishments over them any day. No question!

Oh yeah, forgot about the Farmhouse... maybe 15 miles from my house as the crow flies, but seems so far because of the lake.. (insert sobbing sounds here). That list is out of control!

Absolutely. The keg at Worthy Burger a few weeks back lasted a full two days I believe. KBS is an all time favorite of mine, but I went there on a Monday and had an Everett and and Edward before having my glass of KBS. It was the first Everett I'd had since the fall, couldn't pass that up.

Seriously though, a few months ago I was in Blackback and they had NINE Hill Farmstead beers, two from Lawson's plus a bunch of incredible others (Rodenbach!). There was practically no possible way to choose from all that greatness. I believe that was a Tuesday night that I was up there for a Heady Topper run. Just a Tuesday.
