Best East Coast DIPAs

    DFH American Beauty

    Excluding the stuff from HF and Heady Topper, I think the aforementioned two take it for me as far as East Coast DIPAs go. I don't really care for Kane Overhead, and I think Victory's other offerings rank below Dirtwolf. I may alkso have had too many DFH 90-Minutes to think of it as anymore than baseline anymore - but also I like my DIPAs with more citrus flavor.

    Is American Beauty an IPA or DIPA? It is listed on here as an IPA, but is 9.00% ABV.

    2 standouts for me this year:

    CBC Red God (though called a Red Ale on BA)
    Cigar City Dry-Hopped on the High Seas

    Peekskill Higher Standard hands down for me. I can get this regularly. I crave this stuff, fresh from the brewery, doesn't get any better than this.

    Heady too course but can't get this easily.

    OK, I have it now...Two Roads Road to Ruin DIPA - 22oz. Incredile beer from a world class state of the art facility. That's $5.00 well spent.

    Abner, Gahndi-Bot, Double Sunshine, Heady Topper, Flower Power, Lunch, Nugget Nectar. These are the best of the best as far as I can tell. Still haven't gotten my hands on Julius, or anything by Kane.

    I see a lot of people put Jai Alai on the list. Isn't that a regular IPA, not a DIPA?
