I hadn't had a 90 minute in over a year. I had one on tap this past weekend down at VA Beach, and thought it was a really top shelf double IPA. Need to remember not to forget the great ones while we chase after the latest craze brews.

If we are excluding HF beers (and to me that would assume we're excluding all VT beers) then my faves would be:
Head High (and double dry-hopped variants)
    Overhead (and double dry-hopped variants)
    077-07706
    Julius
    MoMoCoe
    On The Wings of Armageddon
    077xx
    Lunch
    Another One
    Resin

    Heady Topper obviously is amazing.
Dogfish head 90 is an awesome brew too.

My go-to though (maybe because it's local) is BP No Apologies.
Something about that beer straight from the tap. Very sweet, very hoppy, and damn good on a nice summer day outside on my balcony.

Hoping the 4 day old Limbo I just bought today will be one of them.

I really wish that Terrapin still brewed Rye Squared. That was always one of my favorites and I think that it probably got phased out for lacking sales, but I think that it was probably just years ahead of the developing palates in the states that they were available in at the time. I bet that if they released that again now, that it would be a powerhouse in their seasonal releases.

No love for Flower Power, Head Hunter, or Alchemy Hour (Chillwave)? Maybe not East Coast in style, but close enough to the East Coast for me.

As I have exceptionally easy access to HF, Lawsons and Heady I will undeniably go with.........
    1. SS #5
    2. Double Citra
    3. Double Sunshine
    4. Abner
    5. 2nd Fiddle by Fiddlehead- rediculously underrated and one of my favs

Its so hard to leave out Double Glaxy, Abner, SS#4, Ouroboros and DirtWolf for that matter, but hey that what you have to deal with when you live in Northern VT.

Aside from the big ones everyone knows about, I highly recommend Get Bent Mountain IPA from Parkway Brewing in Salem, VA. When fresh, it's not to be fucked with.

I've noticed Lunch and Limbo mentioned as doubles, there both fantastic but singles by definition.

    1. Maine Beer Co. does now have a double - Lil' One, it's amazing.
    2. Rising Tide - Calcutta Cutter is as good as a double gets.
    3. Brash Brewing Co. - The Bollocks is solid.
    4. Cambridge Brewing Co. - The Audacity of Hops.
    5. Harpoon - Leviathan.

Oops, this thread is about DIPAs, sorry. However, their DIPA Four Damn Fights comes out next year and it's incredible.
