I haven't been in the mood for big malty beers in a long time, even as it is starting to get cooler I still don't feel compelled to pick up any stouts/scotch ales or the like.

Right now I am just looking forward to all of the harvest/wet hop beers.

However, I did just pick up some Victory Moonglow Weizenbock and it is damn good. Definitely a "fall beer".

Lucky Town Brewery in Jackson, MS just released their Lucktoberfest, a big bold Marzen with thick mouthfeel and a nice spicy finish. I can't get enough. And the Sierra Nevada O-Fest is the real deal.

Bell's Best Brown was a good one! My favorite fall beer has to be Korbinian.

I echo that this years SN oktoberfest is really good. Left Hand's oktoberfest is also really good.

I turn to Bittersweet Lenny's. It's a year round offering but to me, it tastes best in the fall!

Any Oktoberfest, especially if you can find a few thousand Germans or German wanna bees to hang with. Anything Imperial especially around a fire pit. Ditto for barley wines and a Partagas or Cohiba.

Has anyone tried Weyerbacher's new Jester's Choice #3 Oktoberfest yet? I just picked up a 4-pack and haven't had a chance to try it yet (I need to start working less). Plus, it's not yet listed on this site.
