I have a Polar Bear cooler bag that I use all the time bringing some bottles to or from home. The ice in the cooler ruins the labels on the bottles though. Anyone use ice sheets or have a recommendation for which ones are the best? I have been looking at these ones http://www.amazon.com/Techni-Ice-Re...UTF8&qid=1410391822&sr=8-1&keywords=techniice as they say they stay cold way longer than ice but a lot of the reviews say they leak a goo when they are thawing out. These ones http://www.amazon.com/Thermafreeze-...TF8&qid=1410392550&sr=1-2&keywords=ice+sheets have better reviews but still a few that mention goo.
I keep a Polar Bear in my truck with a few empty growlers and room for beer shopping. I fill up old Powerade bottles with water, freeze them and throw them in the cooler in the morning. They are 50% thawed by the end of the day sitting in my truck in Texas summer heat. Some condensation, never enough to ruin a label, but you could wrap the ice bottle in a small rag though. Beer is still cold when I get home.
