Actually I'd probably put two hearted, racer 5 and Pliny before resin and jai alai, and of course, fresh is best on all mentioned. And I have to say Hop Wallop as well.

As of this morning - Three Notch'd 40 Mile IPA. But Sculpin, Jai Alai, DC Brau Corruption all impress.

Jai Alai is the best one I've tried.

So I've recently had the pleasure of trying the top two rated IPA ' S. Heady Topper and Pliny the Younger within a day of each other. It's very difficult to compare a beer in a can to a fresh Pliny the Younger on tap. In your opinion what's the BEST IPA you've had so far?

Personally speaking Pliny the younger is the best IPA I've ever had, I can respect the hype behind Heady Topper but I feel we have a few beers on the West coast that are better in flavor.

I don't claim it's the best, I've got years of sampling to go, but my choice for balanced hoppy goodness is Hop Nosh =]

    I can't say. I haven't tried them all

As it stands, Jai Alai is the best I've had the privilege to try thus far.

I'm getting to try Pliny the Elder tomorrow (very excited) but my favorite so far is Lagunitas Sucks. Then jai alai. I thought hopslam and sculpin were both pretty overrated.

Agreed. It doesn't get any better than fresh Jai Alai.

I had my fist Heady tonight and it was insane and off the chain! Deserves they hype. I will have my first Pliny this weekend when I share it and Nugget Nectar with my friends.

As for the best ipa, to many to choose from. So many breweries are knocking the ipas out of the park. It would be easy for me to say three floyds because I live in Indiana but, I have tried so many new ones over the years that I really can not pick one.
