Out of the ones I've had, notorious. Though I do love zombie dust and hop venom. Citra is good too. Younger imo is overrated and I'm sure the ltd availability plays into it however it is really good, even better if one doesn't have to wait hours.

As usual I will continue my broken record-ness of preaching about Ohio IPAs. Its hard to choose but i would probably rank mine like this (Ohio only beers)

    IPA
    1. Headhunter
    2. White Rajah
    3. Gangster Frog (has to be fresh!)
    4. Columbus IPA

    DIPA/IIPA
    1. Hop JuJu
    2. Columbus Bodhi
    3. IBUsive
    4. Jackie O's Mandala Citra

HF Abner or Lawson's Double Sunshine. Ithaca Flower Power for best in my state.

I also advise you to search for this topic on the forums, because it's not exactly an uncommon thread topic.

How does one go about sampling this homebrew?
I have some tasty offerings that I could trade.

My favorite IPA is Two-Hearted. I also think Racer 5, Green Flash West Coast, 3 Floyd's Drednaught, and Founders Harvest & Centennial are excellent.

Right now, Zombie Dust tops the charts. But we shall see. This weekend I will be indulging in Heady, Double Sunshine, Abrasive, Abner, and Edward. I know this is a mix of APA/IPA/DIPA, but I don't care because I'm just so giddy about tasting these beers.

Heady Topper and Pliny are world class, and so is Headhunter, Dirtwolf, and Double Jack. I've tried HF Abner and Double Galaxy recently and don't really get the hype. The IPA's on the market today are becoming one dimensional though, with a complete disregard for any malt profile whatsoever. Wish some malt character would find its way back into some hoppy brews.

Double Sunshine. May be replaced by Treehouse Julius after this weekend!

haha its keg has been long since finished, but I will be rebrewing it this summer. It was my attempt at a younger clone, without ever having had younger before. They ended up being pretty damn close, with mine being more mango/exotic fruit forward, and Younger being more citrusy. But so, so close.

I could list the usual suspects that are available to me here in Colorado (and that includes a lot of California beers, too).... But last fall I was lucky enough to try Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA from Ohio, and though it was my first and (thus far) only time, damn.... that may be the finest I've had. Falling Rock (an awesome bar here) had it on tap during Great American Beer Festival week.

I'd love to do a blind tasting of a bunch of the top rated IPAs, but my palate tells me that Surly Abrasive is the best.

What's so awesome is the fact no one has mentioned Simtra from a small brewery in Auburn called Knee Deep. It is an amazing triple IPA and thankfully not alot of people have tried it yet so it's readily available in this area.

Another one of my top DIPA is Sons of wrath by Dust Bowl.

For a while I though it was heady, then I had a Pliny. Then I though it was Pliny and I had HF abner. Abner.....
