Your in Wi, no love for Furious? I thought Furious would be on everyone list in their disto area.

Top 5ish, in order. I prefer all the DIPA's over the regular, if it matters.

    "Regular" IPA
    Southern Tier IPA
    Stone IPA
    Cape Cod IPA
    Sierra Nevada Torpedo
    Sam Adams Whitewhater IPA
(honorable mention - Rocky Mountain IPA)
(honorable mention - Dogfish Head 60 Minute)

Double/Imperial IPA - so tough to pick favorites after Heady. So many good versions.
    Heady Topper
    Pliny the Elder
    Dogfish Head 90 Minute
    Cafe Racer 15
    Ruination
    (honorable mention - Victory Dirtwolf)
(honorable mention - Sierra Nevada Hoptimum)

This is a tough "top" list, so just going on ratings: - *Note - the thread is IPA's not DIPA's.

Mine would have to be Heady followed by Hopslam. For everyone who didn't say Heady, just curious have you ever had it?

Southern Tier when it's available on draft.
I've numerous favorite IPAs but it's the one that, when the waitstaffer at a restaurant is listing the beers available on tap, when I hear that name I stop him/ her and say "Yesss -- one of THOSE, please!"

Sorry thought DIPA was a type of IPA, for a regular IPA I'd go with Bells Two Hearted.

Excluding DIPAs and IIPAs... My top 5 (right now at least) would be:

    1. Sculpin (but so expensive)
    2. Boulevard Single Wide (this would be my go to if I could get it in PA)
    3. Two Hearted
    4. Evolution Lot 3
    5. Founder's Harvest

Racer 5, Flower Power, and All Day IPA deserve "honorable mentions"...

Dogfish 75 Minute would be my #1 if DF could just deliver some consistency. Some bottles were simply amazing, and others extremely disappointing (very over-carbonated, a bit of that "nickels in my beer" taste). I have been underwhelmed with 60 Minute as of late too - I swear they changed something in the recipe, since as of earlier this year, every time I've tried it, it just seems different (in a bad way) from what I remember.... Of course, it could be my tastes, and not the beer, that have changed.

I know people love Head Hunter, but to me it's just too bitter... doesn't do it for me.

For an IPA that I can get all the time I'll stick with my local Flower Power. Nugget Nectar is a repeat buy for me and so is Perpetual IPA. If I could have ti fresh I'll also take some Union Jack and some Green Flash West Coast IPA. Elysian Space Dust and Beachwood Melrose were two standout favorites although I will most likely never have them again.

I want IPA's all the time.
