Hey guys, Gonna be out in L.A. from Thursday through Sunday. What are some good shops to pick up craft brews? What's good and seasonal at the moment? I'm game for anything. Also what spots/bars should I check out? I've been to Father's Office, Biergarten and Naja's Place on previous visits. Been meaning to check out Beer Belly in Koreatown.

Since you didn't mention where you're staying in LA, here's a random sampling of beer stores I like in the Greater LA area: Red Carpet Wines in Glendale has a good selection of bottles and they're all in coolers. They also have 6 quality taps (and lots of wine by the glass, if you or someone you know is into wine). http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/8360 Vendome Liquors in Toluca Lake has a surprising selection, and seems to get things that just don't show up anywhere else in the area. Fair warning: Much of their stock is on shelves, not in coolers. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/3294 I've been going to Beverage Warehouse for many years. They're out of the way for me (I'm in the Valley), but almost always worth the trip. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2277 I've only been to Sunset Beer Company a few times, but they always have some interesting and tempting bottles. They have a small selection of taps (3-5 if I remember correctly) and it's a comfortable place to have a beer. Worth a look if you're in the area. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27490 Also: I haven't been to Ramirez Liquors yet, but they've been getting a lot of love recently from people whose opinions I trust: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/12313
