What are the best lagers from our great Great Lakes? I love some Metropolitan, their schwarzbier is the bomb.
Obviously Great Lakes makes some delicious lagers as well. I love both Eliot Ness and Dortmunder Gold. Church St. Brewery in the Chicago burbs makes too really good lagers as well.

Who else? What's the best lager from New Glarus (rarely get to try me some New Glarus)? I am sure there are others I am missing.

Lakefront Local Acre (wet hop). Damn it's a good lager.
Silver and Gold from GLB was also fantastic. I wish that they would brew it again.

Lakefront Local Acre is really good but no longer fresh, NG Hometown Blonde (best ng lager), Staghorn, Three Floyds Gorch Fock Helles (Surprisingly), Flesk / The Radler Haus Helles, Revolution Oktoberfest Revolution, Local Option Outlawger, Voku Hilla (on the shelf), Oso Bourbon Barrel Aged Dominator, Lakefront Big Easy Lager....

I thought Short's Black Diamond last year was pretty incredible in the variety pack. The Dortmunder in the new pack isn't too shabby either.

Last year Kuhnhenn did a Lucky Charms Lager that absolutely blew my mind. Not sure if we'll ever see that one again...

Kuhnhenn has a Dortmunder on right now called Bombshell. I can't get it out of my head. Never thought I'd say that about a lager.
