If you had to choose one spot (brewery or bar) to have lunch based on not only a great beer list but a great lunch menu as well. Where would you choose?

    Does the location matter?
I'd go with Northdown, Hopleaf or Piece.

Definitely Piece. U can get an individual 3-topping pizza for $7.99. Pretty damn good deal if u ask me. Of course, great beer as well.

goose clybourn is sometimes maligned on here, but I always find the food to be pretty good. I think local option is open for lunch and they got pretty good food too.

I love L&E and Clybourn, but I think my vote will be Bad Apple.

Great burgers, great poutine, the artisan hot dog is typically on par with Hot Doug's and the beer list is usually pretty interesting. Plus you can stop at Half Acre across the street afterward.

Can't go wrong with Sheffield's for a pulled pork sandwich and a brew.

Bangers & Lace. Crazy good beer and sausages? Probably.

Also, Owen and Engine has a great burger and legit beers. Same story with Au Cheval.

Small Bar Division, Piece, Kuma's, Bad Apple, Local Option, Longman &Eagle, Etc.

You can even get Pipeworks at Mastro's if you're looking for a steakhouse.

A few of the places mentioned aren't open for lunch every day, much to my sorrow. Bad Apple doesn't do lunch Mon-Wed, and Fountainhead only does so on weekends. Apparently folk in North Center work for a living or something. So glad Hop Leaf offers lunch everyday now!
