Another 'vote' for Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout.

    Cheers!

Left hand milk Stout is one of my favorites. The Nitro version is really something special!

Hardywood GBS and Against the Grain 70K are the best I've ever had. Both imperial though, I'm not too big on standard milk stouts and haven't really had many.

MooHoo. Duck Rabbit is good because it's a bit drier than most milkstouts but not in a bad way. Choklat is awesome as well.

Don't write off Sam Adams Cream (Milk/Cream/Half & half/ Buttermilk/ cottage cheese/ dairy product etc) Stout. Inexpensive (relatively) and a fine beer in it's own right.

Am i the only one that thinks the Nitro Left Hand Milk Stout tastes different from the regular? Way more milk chocolate and less sweet

Solemn Oath's Nourri Au Fourrage is a pretty fantastic Milk Stout.

Moloko. I also really liked the barrel aged version.

Mackeson XXX is the one that I came here to say too. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/9/19/
I think it was the first one that I had many years ago, and although I've probably had less that a dozen since then, Mackeson is the only one that I remember. None have measured up to it in all that time.

I have to give Sam Adams Cream Stout for doing a pretty good job at imitating a cream stout's feel without actually using any lactose. Was my introduction to "stouts that aren't Guinness" and I wish I could find it more often.

Left Hand Milk or Nitro Milk on draft, Pipeworks Game of Jones, and Sam Adams Cream Stout for me. I would mention Stone Xocoveza but it's both a one-off and a seriously spiced/adjunct variation so I am putting that as my asterisk option.

Moloko and Left Hand are two of my favorites.

Locally, I am a huge fan of Hippie Speedball and Island Fever from Latitude 42. Great variants of a extremely sessionable Milk Stout.

As a wildcard, Bell's Double Cream. No lactose but similar and better than most in the style.

Cellar Rats Black Rat Imperial Stout is really nice, they describe it as "Irish coffee with cream and sugar".. it's definitely on the sweeter side, but I like it.. Moloko is probably my fave though..

That's probably the only beer from them that I actually enjoy. No others come to mind.

True. It's one of my wife's favorite beers, & I was bummed when they stopped making it in the US for a few years, though I was able to snag a few bottles from a trading buddy that never quite measured up to my memory of it. This year they started up again & it's just as good as I remember it so many years ago.

I would say Xocoveza... but its not a milk stout with all the adjuncts (as others have mentioned)

I would say Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout but its not a milk stout... no lactose/dairy.

So I guess that leaves me with Moloko... but even then, for the price that bombers of Moloko are going for these days (upwards of $15 in my market), I'd opt for other stouts altogether...

Yeah. I chalked it up to being a non-fan of Nitro. But yeah. It's different. Of course this could be just me.

From a brewery with a short list of beers, I would suggest Brash Smoglifter. No way that while you're drinking it you'll think it's 10%.
