Where'd you hear that? I'm not surprised and I think they should but this is the first mention of actually doing it that I've seen.

Regular is great; vanilla spectacular; coffee was a bit lesser. I'm hoping to try cherry.

I've had some that had bizarre carbonation and off flavors as well.

I couldn't care less about adjuncts.... Lancaster's Double Chocolate Milk Stout was freakin' delicious on tap!!

Lancaster's regular milk stout is solid as is Duck Rabbit. AtG 70K I have to agree is damn tasty!

Left Hand is simply a classic.

But seriously, Odell's Lugene chocolate milk stout is good.

Lest I forget, Buffalo Sweat from Tallgrass Brewing in Kansas is also a real good milk/oatmeal stout.

    Moloko is great.
4 Hands makes a good one, and I enjoyed Spiteful Brewery's Mrs. O'Leary's Cow milk stout as well.

The best milk stouts I've ever tried are:

    Stone Xocoveza
    Keegan Ale's Mother's Milk
    Southern Tier 2X Stout
    Left Hand Milk Stout

Best I've had is 18th Street Hunter Vanilla but that would be tough to get a bottle of.

Best I've had that you could get is Lugene. Moloko is also very good.

Tallgrass calls this an "oatmeal cream stout", but to me, it drinks exactly like a Milk/Sweet stout, so that's what I call it. It's easily my favorite in the category:

I won't speak for him - but there is a fairly large sub-set of BA members that feel that the Nitro serving style is a poor attempt at imitating Cask serving. Particularly people from the UK used to drinking cask beer.

I do agree that it usually results in a very muted aroma.
