I agree it was a boneheaded move on their part, but not sure if you heard what they did in response to it. Pretty cool actually, I think it redeems them.

I agree with the other Left Handers. Left Hand Milk Stout is incredible. I don't remember liking the nitro as much but I'll go pick some up to try again.

Left Hand Nitro for me all well but I do have some bottles of Hardywood GBS coming in 3 weeks so...that could change shortly.

Best I've had are Cigar City's Life is Like... & Revolution's Very Mad Cow.

Left Hand Nitro & Duck Rabbit are pretty darn good as well - just not on the same level as those.

Left Hand and Duck Rabbit are the too that come to mind. There are local breweries in the New England area, but these too put out a stellar product. There are possibly others, but these too were accessible through distribution, beer fests, and travelling.

Great feedback guys. Would love to ck out Against the Grain. They don't distribute here in FL. Xocoveza, don't think I'd classify that as a milk stout... Seems to be more in the strain of Cigar City's Hunahpu.

Has anyone had the Barley Mow Maven that was referenced in the original post?

Vanilla Hunter was incredible. For something easier to get I'm going to vote Pipeworks Imperial Hyper Dog. Unfortunately the last time it was released was back in July. If it gets made again I'll even send you a bottle. Pipeworks Game of Jones is very good too and recommended. In my opinion Pipeworks does milk stouts better than imperial stouts but I'm likely in the minority here.

I stand corrected... Just ck'd Xocoveza profile page, and it's classified as a milk stout. My bad.

Young's Double Choc. or Sammy Smith Choc.

ST Creme Brulee too, but that is an either love it or hate it beer. I'm in the former camp.
