Funny thing about Citifield - you can't buy craft beer in the good seats. I was sitting 9 rows back from the field in the Delta level and you can only get beers that are served by Delta airlines. You can get anything delivered to your seats, except craft beer. Even the bar behind the section only serves Sam Adams and BMC. So if you want craft beer besides SA, you have to go up a few decks where you can find Sixpoint and other goodies.

When I put up the poll, I was going off my memory of what stadiums have been mentioned in the past. Sorry, The Jake probably does belong in the poll.

And to buy what they do offer at Yankee Stadium, you'll need a 2nd mortgage.

I haven't been to all the ballparks but these posted links do tell the story that craft has arrived and that some people would still destroy a perfectly good peanut with AB swill. Is this what Jimmy Carter was trying to stop when he allowed home brewers to brew? I digress

Though not a fan, I had to go with San Diego's PetCo based on their published craft beer guide (posted above) and personal experience at all the Cali ballparks... But is there really a best stadium for beer? Or just a handful that really have done a great job?

Petco Includes Stone, Ballast Point, Sierra Nevada, Firestone Walker, Goose Island, Lost Abbey, Port, Green Flash, Alesmith, Knee Deep, Mission, Black Market, Coronado, Mother Earth, St Archer, Anderson Valley,

Yes they do, as well as lots of other good craft beers.

Not something I'd normally buy, but bang for your buck is there with MKE O-Gii Imperial Wit at 9.2%abv. Pretty dangerous & refreshing on a 90 degree July day.

You can get a suprisignly good selection of Goose Island, Half Acre, and Revolution if I remember correctly. Although I drink nothing but old style there.

Nothing beats sitting out in center field at Safeco with a Fremont Summer Ale or Field 41.

Well, personally, I prefer to stand on the 100 level, right behind home plate, mere steps away from the hand pumps. But, that's just me.

Great American in Cincinnati has an INCREDIBLE craft beer selection. Hell they even do firkins and special kegs for the ballpark from some of the local brewers.

Public House is sweet. There's also a new beer garden out there. Anchor will be doing a special series of beers for it, but I hope there are guest taps as well. We're going to check it out tomorrow, actually.

Until someone finds me a MLB park that sells pints of BMC for under $6 and Craft pints for under $10, then they all suck and I don't care what they offer. Money going to owners or players to buy their 10th Ferrari or 4th vacation mansion in Tuscany etc. No thanks.

Fenway sucks just because of the price. And if you pay attention you notice that a "craft" beer cup is about a half an ounce smaller than if you buy a Bud.

I remember years ago going to Dodger Stadium and asking for beers. She pulls out a 12 oz cup (at least) and fills it and I say "oh is that the large?"

No, she tells me, they are all this size.

"For that price??" I ask incredulously.

You must be from Boston or New York, right?

    "Yes, yes I am."

I proceeded to get bombed out of my gourd. Good times!

Don't know this years prices, but last year at the Mariners stadium, craft beers were $9.50/pint. And, out of curiosity, do you not go to movies? Cuz those folks make more than athletes.

Yep, but I smuggle in a bottle of water and my own snacks to full priced movies. Been doing that ever since I was a teen.

Petco Park added Pizza Port concession stands for this season. This in addition to the Stone tap room, Ballast Point beer garden, and craft beer alley. In past seasons there was a concession stand that had about 50 different 12 oz and 22 oz bottles from local breweries (poured into plastic cups, of course).

Yes, there are some DC options, some national brews from the region (Dogfish, Flying Dog)..but any beer will set you back $9 to start now. For that I think you get a 16 ounce of bud light, etc, or a 12 ounce of a craft beer.

Also Bluejacket Brewery is 5 minutes away for before or after, along with Justin's Cafe which has solid selections.

Definitely not Yankee Stadium, sadly it will always be a wasteland for beer.
