Inspired by the Michigan IPA thread, I created this poll.

Is Furious really an IPA?

I voted Furious, but I also like Saga. Fulton is good, too...

Actually I don't think it is personally but it is considered one on BA and most people in MN think of it that way.

I voted Saga. It is right there as one of my favorites along with Two-Hearted and O'Dell for me. i really liked size 7 the first time I had it but the second bottle was way average. Furious is incredible but I do not call it an IPA so did not vote for it. I've never really liked Masala Mama much. Fulton was solid but not great on tap and worse in bottles...generally thought the same with Hop Dish on tap although I just got it in bottles and will give it a fair shake with an ultra clean palate soon.

I've only had Furious and Saga, so on this front my opinion is not valid. I enjoy both a lot. I should probably finish that Saga 6'er I bought a little bit ago....but it's hard with sooooo much great beer coming out at the end of summer into the fall.

I grabbed a Sweet Child on a pick 6 for a best friend in Iowa, but the reviews seemed to be that it's an easy pass. I do really enjoy Furious, what would it be classified as if not an IPA, just curious?

I'm drinking my second Hundred Yard Dash of the night, and man o man, has Brau Brothers done it again with this. I really enjoyed Hopsession a lot. This is pretty damn good for a smaller brewery! Great job guys.

I originally listed it here as an amber/red because that's how Surly described it, albeit a hoppy one. Turns out that so many complained that it was too hoppy to fit into that category, that Todd asked me to change it's listing to American IPA. Surly still calls it a hoppy amber ale, but, apparently they don't exist, so IPA it is...and isn't...

Apparently 65% of the people who answered this question haven't had Masala Mama.

I voted Fury. That being said, Saga is in my fridge 5x more then any of these. For me, An 8 dollar sixer wins out over a 10 dollar four pk almost everytime.

I havent ever really understood all the raves for Masala either. Good beer, not twelve dollar a growler good though

Surly Bandwagon - seriously the Twins are terrible but this beer makes a visit to the park worthwhile

I voted Saga, just cause it is what I have drank the most. Love it. and the price point is awesome.

I love Furious, but it really is not a traditional IPA. Masala Mama and Size 7 are really good, but I think Saga is just a little better.

I had a sample of Hop Dish at the brewery and thought it was right up there as well, but my brother and I each bought a growler and one tasted like it had cardamom in it. Very disappointed in the difference between what I tasted at the brewery and what they sent me home with.

Man Furious is just miles ahead of Saga for me at least. I will spend the extra 2$ for 8 fewer ounces every time. Hopdish is the only beer on that list that even comes close.

The Bandwagon and a Kramarczuk's bratt with the works, was the only reason I kept going back this year... That and my six year old was convinced they were going to turn it around right up until the last game.

Voted Masala, in all aspects a very well made beer. Furious is also a great beer, but much more than an IPA.

Diebold must be involved if Steel Toe has 12 votes...

I voted Furious cause it's the only MN IPA that I've tried, and it's always one of my favorite IPA's. Looks like I need to plan a trip out to MN soon to visit my mom and do some more investigation on these other IPA's.

I voted Furious. I also like FlatEarth's IPA and Saga. I can't say I'd ever take Saga over Furious, despite the price. I just love Furious.

I love Furious like the next guy but at our store we try to set up our cooler by beer style. We have decided to place Furious with the other Red/ambers.
