My brother and I did a Beer Geek Brunch Weasel the other day, and it went so well with eggs and chorizo. That was a great day...

I didn't have it with breakfast, but I mixed some Zhukov with a double shot espresso with creme and it was delicious. I could see drinking that for breakfast.

Well I have been drinking for a while so I don't normally have just one beer. When I do drink in the morning I like to work my way into the day. So I take it nice and slow with a mixer of six's.

Pretty much starts out with a lite doppelbock http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/710/2464 that starts to make me feel like the day will be pretty good. So I move on to the next which is a little stronger ABV and flavor a stout http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2587/14387 I am going strong and need to refresh with something smooth and familiar.

Now Flying Dog has just the thing I am needing at this time which is http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/68/1213. After downing those and having one good buzz I am wanting to take it up a level and hell, lets face it barleywine can do the trick. So I kickback one of these bad boys: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/273/38750

About this time I am starting to think I should not have drank this much in the morning and for sure no more barleywine. But its obvious nothing else on my todo list is going to happen take unwinding to next level I start to wrap this morning up with a nice big stout, http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/68/75364.

For sure my daily plans are screwed now and I know no choirs are getting done. At this point I dont even want to drink any more but could not possible do anything else from lack of motor skills. I only have one bottle left in the pack so I say F, it and move on to the last one http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/152/725 I normally just call it a day after that...

Never realized beer with breakfast was so popular...I hope the next thread i see is titled, 'best beer to have hooked directly to your veins while sleeping?'...I mean 8 hours without beer seems a bit excessive, no?

That being said, Monk's Blood seems like a beer fit for consumption through the veins.

Overall, I support your choices, but I'd personally go with a Kostritzer Schwartzbier instead of the Hefe with breakfast. Then again, I do like my coffee black and unsweetened, and the Kostritzer makes a good replacement for that.
