CocoLoco is around in bottles. Just the 22oz variety. In fact, I have one Imperial CocoLoco left that I just may have to open tomorrow for Halloween.

Only the Imperial is in bottles. It's fantastic, though! The "regular" Coco Loco will be in cans sometime next year, hopefully.

I am sure you are correct. Now that I put more thought into it, the several bottles I have had were all the "Imperial" one.

Separate from Sexual Chocolate and Lindley Park, his Raleighite will vote for Lonerider Pistols at Dawn, which just came out for 2013.

Shout out to Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter. It's a seasonal but it's one of the best beers brewed in NC.

Is Lindley Park really worth the price? Saw it and passed on it for $13.99 at Total Wine. I'm sure it was at least $15 at the bottle shops.

(Note: I'm not a huge imperial stout fan, yet), and there are non-BA stouts that are good and much cheaper (Narwhal for ex.) or even BBA People's Porter.

Compared to other limited edition beers of equal caliber that are released around the country, it is a bargain.

Agreed. It is port-like in intensity and memorable. Buy it if you can.

Highland Oatmeal Porter, Olde Hickory Imp Stout, Highland Thunderstruck Coffee Porter, LoneRider Pistols at Dawn, Green Man Porter, and Asheville Ninja Porter are all really good. Id give the nod to Thunderstruck and OH Imp Stout.

Duck Rabbit makes great dark beers as well.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Highland's thunderstruck coffee porter. It's very nice. And at 8 bucks a sixer it one helluva deal.

I had LP and for some reason I was not blown away. Every had talked about how great it was. I love stouts and I just wasn't impressed. I wanted to get another bottle to try again, but didn't want to spend the $16 with tax.

I did for good reason, its got the coffee presence of a breakfast stout, but the body of a porter. Surprisingly good stuff from Highland.
