Looking to pick some sours up while I'm in Boston this week to bring home. Any recommendations?

All of the Allegash sours are excellent. Not sure what you get in Texas, but Cascade sours are generally available here.

Go to Night Shift in Everett. Great sours.

Allagash are great if you can find them. Cisco woods are top notch. Imo they are the most underappreciated sours in New England . Pechish is my favorite, but monomy Kreik is also amazing.

They never get much if any hype but all of the woods series beers are great.

I thing white birch berliner is still readily available most places and worth picking up.

Shhhhh. This is a complete lie. Everything they make is awful...No one should bother trying any of their stuff

I'd say anything from the Cisco Woods series, available at the store. Nightshift makes some great sours, but only has 1 bottle available to take home, Funk'd Blanc, available at the brewery. Cascade sours are really good, but around $30 a 750ml btl, available at the store. I'd definitely recommend visiting Cambridge Brewing Co., especially if you can make it to their sour fest. Usually no sours that you can bring home though.

For my money, Allagash makes some of the best sours in the country. Nightshift has a big hit every so often. Funk'd Blanc is one of them. It's my 3rd favorite NS sour and a hell of a beer. CBC quitely puts out unreal sours consistently. I've been impressed with oxbow, oec, and proclamation as well.

Allagash is certainly awesome. Definitely holds up to the rest of the country and Resurgam is my benchmarch for unfruited american sour (shoooot, it holds up across the globe as well). Oxbow is unreal. OEC hit the ground running last year and kills it with Tempus (blended saison) and Exilis (berliner weisse), nevermind the rest of ther lineup.

Honestly though, most of this stuff will be hard to find in bottle shops in boston (as far as I know). A lot of it is Brewery only and rotates (Nightshift is closeby, so thats an easy run). Your best bet is to cross your fingers for the local bars carrying something for you to taste. Realistically, Cisco will be your best sour bottle to bring home. I dunno if Pechish is around, but it is amazing so grab it if you see it.

Allagash 375ml bottles are all really good. OEC is killing it. Trillium sours though hard to get are awesome. Night Shift has had some good ones (not all of them). All of the Woods Series from Cisco are way underrated. I've had sours from other breweries in NE, but nothing memorable comes to mind. I am still trying to get my hands on a bottle of Back Acre.

First Fruits surprised the hell out of me, so damn delicious! Anxiously awaiting output from their koelschip.

The answer to this question is.... Allagash Coolships. I've had De Garde, Russian River, Side Project, Cascade, Jester King, Bruery, Lost Abbey, etc. sours... and Allagash makes the best, most consistent, sours in the US... Period. IMHO.

If you haven't hit up the new Jack's Abby sour project beers, do yourself a favor and try them. The nectarine is the standout but they are all getting better and better. Watch out for this line of theirs.
