I think there are tons of great European beers that would qualify. Depending on what styles you like, that could be anything from an old ale, to a kellerbier, to a lambic, to a weissbier.
My list is a mile long. We're certainly doing great things over here in the US, but I don't think we're doing a better job.

Not easy to distil the entire rest of the world's line up into one "best" beer, but in terms of something that:

    A) makes it to the U.S.
    B) doesn't require too much effort to get
    C) isn't going to blow the bank
    D) ticks the beer nerd box

    Pannepot

None American here, so I'll offer my favourite none British beers. If I had a gun to my head and had to pick one from each significant beer country, and based purely on imports:

    Germany – Weihenstephanen Hefeweizen
    Belgium – Duvel
    Czech Republic – Budvar
    USA – Sculpin

    My top picks would be:

    Cantillon Fou
    Lente
    Framboos11
    Lou Pepe Fram

It's hard though because honorable mentions go to Hommage/LPK

Beers that might have US imitations but just aren't the same.

I'd say either Weinstephaner Original, Ayinger Celebrator or Aecht Shlenkerla Helles. Tough call.

Belgium - Struise, Cantillon, De Dolle, Drie Fonteinen, Fantôme, and any trappist (Westvleteren, Westmalle, Achel, Rochefort, Orval, Chimay)

Denmark - To Øl, Amager, Xbeeriment, Mikkeller (some of these are gypsy, so not exactly in Denmark)

Netherlands - De Molen and two trappists (La Trappe also known as Koningshoeven is excellent, and Zundert which I felt was just okay)

    Norway - Haandbryggeriet, Nøgne Ø

Germany - I prefer Andecsher to Weihenstephaner, but both are great

England - Brodies, Magic Rock, Beavertown

    Spain - Naparbier

This is a question that requires due consideration. I am currently working to try the best beer that every country has to offer. I'll be back once I've made a determination or die trying.
