I'lll be in LA (specifically Woodland Hills) for business 2/22 - 2/24.

Any recommendations for breweries / brewpubs / bottleshops would be greatly appreciated! I'll be traveling by foot and taxi.

    Thanks in advance!!

I haven't kept up with the west valley, so the furthest places to the west that I'm familiar with are Macleod Ales (Van Nuys) for a brewery, Boneyard Bistro for a pub, and Valley Beverage for bottles (both in Sherman Oaks). I've only been to Macleod recently, though, the other two not for a long while. If you're stuck in Woodland Hills taxi rides to any decent places (if you don't see anything in the LA thread any closer to you) are going to be expensive.

Local Peasant and Pedalers Fork have decent options on tap. Go to Green Jug for all your bottle needs.

Sweeney's bar just opened in Encino. Ryan is the best bar owner in the LA area (I worked for him for four years so I'm a bit biased, but I think many here will agree).
