Best Places to Stop in Indianapolis?

    Driving down for Metallica on the 11th. Gonna be in town like noon and have about 5 hours or so to kill before the show. Anywhere that I must stop? Preferably keeping the uber bill as low as possible.

    Sun King (full disclosure: where I work / here's a tap list) currently has 30ish beers on tap and is within walking distance (1 mile) of Banker's Life. Indiana City is just a little bit further / maybe 1.2 miles from Bankers Life). Metazoa is also within that mile radius. Tomlinson Tap Room has beer from breweries across the state and is also within walking distance there (0.5 miles). There's a Rock Bottom and Ram both downtown. Chilly Water is 1.2 miles from Banker's Life and on the Cultural Trail. I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody.

    I was in Indianapolis for a business trip this past December. I enjoyed the Upland Taproom, Deviate Brewing and Bier Brewery.

    I thought The District was a good pub. Pretty decent food selection and a ton of local craft beer options. Has some really great beer draft deals when I was there too. I went twice while I was in town.

    Yeah we have some of their stuff around here. One of the places I wanted to hit.

    So I'll throw this out there. Anyone want me to drive some stuff I can get in the Chicago market and trade for showing me around? Even got some new glarus

    You need to visit Tomlinson Tap room in the city market. They have some really good Indiana beers. It is a nice place to just sit and enjoy beer.
