Elysian's pumpkin stuff is all amazing, Springhouse Braaiinnnnsss is also amazing, and I enjoy Stegmaier's pumpkin ale as well.

 

I'm not a fan of Pumpkin beers but if I had to pick one it would be Hipp O Lantern.

Pumking if you like straight up Yam beer. It isnt even pumpkin

I have gotten my wife a 6er of Schlafly Pumpkin and Williamsburg Alewerks Pumpkin so far this season. Will probably get her a 4pack of Pumking soon. Good all-around favorites. I have a 6er of Evolution Jacque Au Lantern waiting for me, never had it before.

I was REALLY surprised by Saucony Creek Maple Mistress last year (not really pumpkin... sweet potato or squash I believe, but spiced all the same and very good)

 

I'm a sucker for pumpkin beers (and anything pumpkin). I don't tend to rate them highly. Out of the 23 I've rated thus far:

Looking forward to trying the new pumpkin peeps. Also grabbed some Fitz's pumpkin soda and am awaiting Graeter's pumpkin ice cream to make the ultimate pumpkin float. I also recommend pumpkin ice cream on a pumpkin Krispy Kreme donut. I am aware I have a problem.

 

Saint Arnold's pumpkinator. It's the only beer that you see people gladly shelling out for multiple cases

 

Last year i liked Troegs Master of Pumpkins, Ithaca Country Pumpkin, and St Ambroise Citrouille. And New Holland Ichabod.

 

I never see Smuttynose get any love for their pumpkin ale, which surprises me. As far as readily available, reasonably-priced options go, it's near the top of my list. Not a high abv, super-spiced pumpkin pie bomb like some (which also have a place in my heart), but just a smooth, flavorful, authentic-tasting pumpkin beer.

Southern Tier Pumpking - I absolutely hated this. Buttery, sweet, spicy mess. I understand a lot of people like this so I'm leaving it all for them this year.

I am starting to get excited about this year's patch of pumpkin ales, but refuse to start in on them until September. Don't really want a pumpkin beer after hiking all day in 80 degree weather.

 

Schlafly is amazing. Really enjoy Good Gourd too.

 

Best I've tried, hands down is Southern Tier Rum Barrel Pumking. I'm trying to get some Avery Rumpkin, I've been told it's excellent.

 

Horsehead's Pumpkin ale

 

Agreed even though apparently a few others in this thread detest it by the sound of it.
Then again I have been drinking it for over 12 years.

Ultimately though my favorite of all is Night Owl - Elysian and Pumking is a distant second followed up by Smuttynose.

 

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but I really enjoyed Almanac's Heirloom Pumpkin last year.
