I have a soft spot for pumpkin and fall beers in general, so in no certain order...

Elysian Night Owl and Great Pumpkin Ale
    Schlafly Pumpkin
    Whole Hog Pumpkin
    Southern Tier Pumking & Warlock

I also really enjoyed Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin and Dogfish Punkin when I first got into good beer, but last year's batches didn't seem the same to me. The Elysian, Schlafly and Whole Hog offerings are on a whole other level as far as I can tell, so I generally lean toward them now.

Whole Hog is my favorite. And it's much easier to get around here than Schlafly which everyone goes crazy for and it's gone before you know it.

Distro is pretty limited, but Griffin Claws Screamin Pumpkin is by far the best pumpkin beer I have had. Throw in the fact that it is 16oz cans and it is perfect for fall golf, trick or treating, and tailgating.

I haven't had many Pumpkin beers, as I never really enjoyed the style. I had a few that I tried last fall that I seem to remember enjoying.

New Holland Ichabod wasn't bad, and is readily available in my area.
Epic Fermentation Without Representation grew on me.
Central Waters Headless Herron I remember being really fond of.
Southern Tier Pumking, but I actually like Warlock better.

Not a pumpkin beer, but the same "family" - I also enjoy Indeed Sweet Yamma Jamma in the fall.

Pumking. Hands down. Followed very closely by Warlock and Headless Heron. All stellar.

When do the Elysian Pumpkin beers (Punkuccino, Great Pumpkin, etc.) get released, or are they already out? I'm not in their distro so I have no idea - the website just says Fall Seasonal.

Besides Pumking, I'd go with Rivertowne Headless Wylie, which is basically a canned version of Pumking imo..

Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale is awesome as well..

And I'm confused why Tröegs Master Of Pumpkins gets no love.. I didn't try the first vintage, which didn't get rave reviews.. but the vintage last year that hit distribution was awesome.. it's basically a "Pumpkin Saison".. great stuff..

My personal favorites include Sam Adam's pumpkin, Mayflower's offering (forget the name), and Long Trail's Imperial Pumkin Ale.
Tried a lot of them but these ones resonate with me most.

Geesh let's just make pumpkin beers year round- cant' believe they are out in August already. (Are pumpkins even harvested this early? WTF) Anyway, I think Elysian makes great pumpkin beers, I really enjoy the spice and maltiness of Night Owl. I'll also put a nod out there for Dogfishead Punkin.

But I think the best one out there is Rumpkin from Avery, I have vintages going back four years now, which is probably still to early for them to hit their peak, but will be delicious nonetheless!

I am usually a huge advocate of Elysian's Night Owl, but I tried my first one of the season the other night and something tasted... off.. about it. I will therefore go ahead and champion Elysian's Punkuccino as an excellent play on a pumpkin ale. I have never had Schlafly but really need to try it apparently (not sure if Pittsburgh is in that distro? perhaps @geodonnokepyo knows?)

Never had Schafly but my answer would be Elysian pumpkin beers Had rum barrel aged Pumking aged at almost a year the other night. Pretty darn good. Used to like the regular Pumking but it does nothing for me now

I like most pumpkin beers and switch them up quite frequently. I was pleasantly surprised by Wolaver's (Organic) Pumpkin Ale (Otter Creek). This "sleeper" seemed to come out of nowhere...

Yeah it was heavy on the spices, but I remember sweet vanilla and lots of Belgian notes.. I loved the carbonation too.. to each their own though!
