Sculpin is up there, by any measure, for sure. If you literally mean chasing a truck, then I would argue that very few require that. In that case:

    Permanent Funeral
    Alpha King
    Daisy Cutter
    Fist City
    Abrasive
Crimson Snapper, Sure Bet, Square Grouper (all very similar, and sell out super quickly, although don't actual require truck chasing)
    Hi-Res
    Scream
    Navaja
    Double Daisy Cutter (any form)
    Unsessionable
    Citra Ninja

Obviously a lot of those are DIPAs, but I figured that since two of the bigger truck-chasing ones are as well (Pliny and HT...well, HT technically isn't, but still), it's fair game.

So true, I was in military for 30 yrs and lived in Seattle area for 4 yrs and loved the Pac Northwest craft brewers (R.I.P, Aviator Ales). Never heard of any of the Vermont or Northeast brewers until I moved back here.

Try your local breweries' selections. Honestly it's as easy as that! You might find 9 out of 10 local IPAs aren't that great but maybe you find that 1 that is and it goes overlooked because of the hype from the larger or more popular breweries.

I'm sure my list'll be redundant with most of what's been mentioned, but I'll do it any way...

In my neck o' the woods, these are reliably around and at least one is always within its freshness range...

Hoptimum just came out this week in MA, get any? Where about in NH are you? Near the Craft Beer cellar, Nashua? Close to Portland Me or Portsmouth, NH? NH has some great breweries.

As the various lists presented here indicate, there are so many worthy IPAs out these days that you're pretty much surrounded. Just be sure to watch for bottling dates.

    A couple I didn't see mentioned:

Uinta Hop Nosh, which used to be Hop Notch and which remains a fine brew.
Mayflower IPA, which I find a bit underappreciated, perhaps because it's not hugely hop-forward but nicely balanced.
Pretty Things Meadowlark, admittedly a bomber-only brew but still really good.

(Of course if you're in NH you must have experience with Smuttynose Finestkind, an IPA that does the Granite State proud.)

Haven't seen it mentioned yet...but my girlfriend is all about Finch's Chimera Hardcore...and it's always on the shelf here in VT.

Other easy finds are Long Trail's Limbo & Otter Creek's Backseat Burner are pretty awesome & easily available locally. Repeat the obvious...Sierra Nevada & Smuttynose & Lagunitas.
