Founders Imperial Stout hands down. However, you guys mentioned so many others I've never heard of I could be wrong. The Green Flash Silva Stout sounds like one I would like.

Every year I buy a case of Expedition and throw it under the bar. I'm drinking the 2010 now and it's damn tasty.
Come to think of it, I do the same with PT5, and Founders RIS...and then there's Abyss and Darkness. I've got way too much stout.

I'm surprised to see so many Ten Fidys. That's pretty cool because it's usually always at my local store. I haven't had any for awhile though.

And likewise I'm surprised at no mention of BT yet.

I'm not sure what my favorite is, it's not Parabola, but maybe Ten Fidy, eh, the Stone Espresso was pretty damned good, I just don't know. Haven't had any Yeti or Speedway in a looooooooooooooong time.

Of the BA variety, it's a tie between KBS and Black note. Of the non BA, it's a tie between DORIS and Expedition. I'm a big fan of BA stouts.

Grant's Perfect Porter? It was so good! Had a keg of it at my college grad party in '04.

    Parabola, Samuel Smith's IS, & Bell's Expedition.

Nah- Grant's had a seriously nice Imperial Stout in the late 80's/early 90's.

The Perfect Porter was a pretty killer beer as well, though.

Founders RIS would be my pick for easily accessible, straight RIS.
Parabola is my pick for a non-trad/flavored/barrel aged RIS

that said, I've had some really great, great high octane stouts thanks to Armsby Abbey's April stoutfest. Odin's Tipple comes to mind. Some of those de Struisse Black Albert series are pretty nuts too. Honorable mention would go to Ten Fidy

Posting this reminded me to look back into all the versions of Yeti out there since there's at least 10 available in Phoenix.

Any reason not to consider American Imperial Stout a derivative of Russian Imperial Stout? I would look at it as a subcategory, just like coffee stouts, rather than a wholly separate entity.

If you are counting double/imperial stouts that aren't barrel-aged, I'm going to nominate TG Mornin' Delight.

Actual RIS's without anything added: probably Marshal Zhukov.. followed by Darkness.

For stuff not BA and with no chocolate, coffee, etc:
    Marshall Zhukov
    Ten Fidy
    Yeti

Edit: forgot to mention Black Albert
