Hello all, I am visiting pacific northwest and rather than visit 5 different spots I rather go to a beer bar with all the local stuff. What beers should I look for and what breweries are good? Plus what bar has alot of local selections? I like pretty much anything except saisons and gose. I saw the Seattle thread but it doesnt quite direct me to the questions I have.
    Thank you in advance

Though not the fanciest tap list in the area, both Flatstick Pubs (Kirkland & Pioneer Square) feature only Washington State beers. At the Kirkland locale, I often crowl about. Your mileage may beery? (SRY BARELYWINE RITE NOW)

There is no place with "all the local stuff". There are 170+ breweries in the Seattle area alone.

Brouwer's Cafe in Fremont will have a lot of Washington or Oregon beers. Malt & Vine will, too. The Collective On Tap is good, but depending on where you are, might be a bit out of your way.

Downtown, Pine Box is a pretty good option (and it's a cool place).

Another option for you is to go up to the Ballard area and walk around. There's like 10 breweries in pretty easy walking distance of each other up there. Downtown area is pretty similar, depending on your willingness to walk.

Beer Junction or Beveridge Place Pub might be good options, but I don't know them well.

go to either chucks location. They have a ton of to go beers and the best tap list around normally.

What it boils down to is: tell us where you're staying and we'll point you to a good bar or three. At this point, I think every neighborhood has at least one or two.

Thank you, everyone, for the help. I am staying in west Seattle near aiki beach. I saw Beveridge was in that area and someone mentioned it.

Beer Junction and Beveridge Place are what you want. Also, make sure you have lunch at Marination Ma Kai.

When are you visiting? Unless it's soon or you're already, our recommendations may change based on what's available then.

If you are visiting right now, none of the local hoppy stuff will steer you wrong. I also like the Coco Jones and Second Sight from Black Raven, and Here Cones the Sun from Block 15.

Just ask the people working the bar as well as other people there. They won't steer you wrong.
