Best Single Hops Beers

I was afraid of that, though I was hoping there were a couple of later batches brewed. Still, I'll probably pick up a final sixer just for the heck of it- at least I'll get to see how well it ages .

I'm under the impression that they do one of these a year, so it's the first batch. Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't been seeing it lately

I did just see a few recent cases hit the floor the last time I was shopping, but didn't look at the dates. It's probably older stuff that was still at the distributor, but I will know for certain once I have it in hand within the next few days.

 

I had one about a month ago and it still tasted fresh. It's worth a try. I'd probably do the same

Good to know, and it does make me feel a little better about picking some up. Who knows, if I still enjoy it I may just get as much as I can while it's still around.

 

None of Pipeworks ninja series DIPAs are actually single hopped. They are hop focused.

My favorites:
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA - this beer is crazy good!!!
Three Floyds Permanent Funeral (pretty sure this one is all Citra)
Three Floyds Zombie Dust
Bells Two Hearted

 

I need to try more of this because I only had it once the last time I was in STL. We do get Schlafly in NYC, but not much of a selection, mostly the AIPA.

 

I just noticed that someone posted early in the thread about a recent sixer of 2Xone and they seemed to think the mosaic was still going strong, if you need more encouragement

 

You are right sir! I thought it was a hybrid plant, but I was wrong.
