If you get Southern Tier's with a few weeks on it, it's not too shabby.

    Flower Power, of course.

Don't overlook Stone IPA, especially if it is under a month old. Sublimely Self Righteous is now available in 12 oz bottles, for black IPAs.

Three Heads The Kind, especially on-tap. Completely underrated.

Pretty limited even in Upstate NY and more of a rotational than year round, but Horseheads IPA is very good when fresh.

I also say Flower Power if you are talking brewed in NYS. If you are talking available in NYS, I would also add Alesmith IPA

I've fallen in love with Flower Power. got a fresh growler fill a few days back, best smelling beer I've had so far! relished every second with that growler. Have been a big fan of Sublimely. Got a nice ST Unearthly I'm sipping on right now
Will seek out on the next beer run for sure

Curious—where exactly in NY are we talking? Makes a HUGE difference. Large parts of upstate are more or less beer deserts, and not all cities in upstate are created equal (different selections and availability all over the I90 corridor).

And then Long Island / NYC / Hudson Valley area are a completely different story.

Oh, yeah then you've got a very good selection down there. Still looking for just New York-brewed IPAs, though?
